Take a Virtual HikeNo, I'm not telling you to bug off. I'm inviting you for the ultimate couch potato outdoors experience. A fellow by the name of Erik Goetze (boy, I hope he's not related to Bernie!), likes to lug a giant camera setup on hikes and take panoramic pictures which he then stiches together on the computer to create Quicktime Virtual Reality Clips. These are absolutely unique and outstanding, I think the very best in the world! He has scenes from all over the California and some adjacent states. You may not burn many calories, but you sure won't get any blisters on your feet! Take a hike! Take a Virtual Tour of the International Space StationOK, if you really want to get away from it all, this is about as far as you can go and still get back for work on Monday. This is definitely for overt or geekezoid individuals who enjoy long periods of time locked away in their rooms with no human contact. Reserve your place on the Space Station today, the seats are going fast. Also marvel at how the webmasters at NASA spend your tax dollars while the satellites blow up on the launch pad! |
